Sustainable results by tailor-made designs
From the earliest time of glass production right up until today, progress in the glass industries has revolved predominantly around progress in addressing the problem of heat in the production of immaculate and perfect glass. More than just a side issue, it has provided knowledge essential to production processes: What is the best production design for a specific type of glass – technically and economically? Which materials can best withstand the heat? And how should the most suitable production facilities be established? Over the last 100 years, one material has played a crucial role in the manufacture of new kinds of glass and new or improved applications: platinum and derivative platinum group metals such as Rh and Pd. Today, however, another factor is even more important: engineering capabilities to correlate the various parameters that determine the perforance of such processes !
Know-how-based engineering capabilities for melting technology have become the main driver of progress in glass industries. Though it’s unlikely to find more suitable elements, the development of improved materials, components, and peripheries is something we can certainly work on.
Glass has always been a fascinating product with inexhaustible possibilities in terms of the future. Whatever the innovation may look like: we are proud to be an expert partner for the glass industries in helping to convert their innovations into tangible achievements.
Our greatest achievements usually remain classified because often they are individually engineered for specific clients in line with proprietary requirements. We also offer adaptable components, but an increasing number of our clients request our engineering experts to design unique solutions. This process is based on precise calculations and verifiable scientific data, not trial and error.
